Your files

pdfSofo processes your documents and pictures entirely inside your browser. Your files, their contents, and anything you type into them (text, form fields, signatures, passwords) are never sent to us or anyone else.

Saved signatures and settings

If you save a signature or change a setting, it is stored in your browser's local storage on your device only. You can delete it from the Sign tool, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Usage counts

To learn which tools are useful, we count anonymous events such as "a PDF was downloaded" or "the Split tool was used", with coarse details like a page-count range or which size option was chosen. We never record file names, file contents, or what you type. We use a privacy-friendly analytics service that sets no cookies and respects your browser's Do Not Track setting.

Pro email list

If you choose to leave your email to hear when pdfSofo Pro is ready, we store that email, which Pro feature you were trying, your country (from your connection, not your exact location) and the date. We use it only to tell you about Pro, and we never sell or share it. To be removed, email privacy@pdfsofo.com.
